Real-time synthesis of wide-angle and arbitrarily viewpoint image based on Ray-Space

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a technique of synthesizing wide-angle and arbitrarily viewpoint images in real-time. "Ray-Space", used by this method, describe position and direction of ray in space. This space can be acquired from multi-viewpoint images captured by a camera array etc. However the question is shortage of ray because of camera sampling and camera view-angle. So, we introduce a method of expanding Ray-Space using interpolation and extrapolation of ray information or sorting cameras. In this technique, we can fill Ray-Space enough information and synthesize wide-angle and arbitrarily viewpoint images. In the experiment, we succeeded to obtain highly photo-realistic synthetic images.
