Abstract(in English) | The Variable Block Size adopted in H.264 needs enormous calculated. This study does Calculated Amount Reduction without changing the image quality. The proposed method deals with three neighbor frames (t-2, t-1, t). The proposed method limits the search range at frame (t-1, t) to use motion vectors in the frame (t-2, t-1). The proposed method makes Calculated Amount Reduction possible to limit the search range that makes image quality every block a standard. In this study, we experiment using actual images and find that there is correlation in motion vectors (t-2, t-1) and (t-1, t). Moreover some simulation results show that the proposed method achieves more reduction in the computation cost. |
