Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The replacement of application softwares with hardware working at higher speed with less power is indispensable to wide-band Wireless LAN Systems in outdoors. In addition, they need strengthening information security. This paper focus on a power conscious high-speed Wireless LAN System built in a strong encryption processing circuit and Intrusion Detection Logic (IDL). The function of the hardware IDL is to detect and defende from unauthorized computer access at a packet level by hardware-logic. Processing of encryption and parity check operates at a power conscious high-speed by wave-pipelined LFSR (Linear Feedback Shift Register). Then, the encryption processing of a wave-pipelined LFSR is stronger than usual WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) processing.
