Abstract(in English) This paper describes implementation issues of multi-media function for mobile phone. Low power and compact implementation of advanced multimedia functionality, such as image, video and graphic, is a key to success of camera mobile phone. In this paper, three approaches of multi-media mobile phone implementation are discussed from power and compactness view points. Then, as an actual example, a system using TOSHIBA application engine "MOBILETURBO T4G" is explained. Finally, digital terrestrial broad casting for mobile and mobile satellite broad casting systems are shown as a new trend.
