Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A noise reduction system using adaptive line enhancer (ALE) and noise reconstruction system has been proposed to reduce sinusoidal and wideband noise in noisy speech. However, this system has the problem that the quality of enhanced speech is degraded. In this paper, a new noise reduction system based on two ALEs and a noise reconstruction filter (NRF) is proposed. First, the two ALEs are used to estimate the sinusoidal noise and the speech, respectively. However, the ALE cannot estimate the unvoiced speech, so the quality of the enhanced speech is degraded. Therefore, the NRF is used to improve the quality of the enhanced speech. We also propose a noise reduction system with feedback circuit to improve the quality of the enhanced speech more.
