Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Traffic analysis is necessary from the viewpoint of efficient system construction and providing a reliable communication service. Recent research results show that TCP contributes to form burst traffic which is a reason for traffic congestion. However, there is still a lack of study on traffic evaluation by using a model that considers both transmission protocol and user mobility. This report describes the influence of TCP on multimedia mobile radio traffic. Computer simulation results show that TCP resending packet and user movement has a large impact on network traffic. |
