Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A technique that uses a prediction error filter for reducing a sinusoidal noise from a noisy speech has been proposed previously. Since the prediction error filter can estimate the sinusoidal noise completely, the output of the prediction error filter becomes zero at convergence on non-speech segments. The speech signal can be enhanced by using the prediction error filter whose coefficients are fixed at convergence on non-speech segments. However, the coefficients of the prediction error filter may not converge to unique values, and the enhanced speech may not have a high quality. In this paper, we investigate the convergence characteristics of the prediction error filter for estimating a sinusoidal noise, and propose a prediction error filter which removes only the sinusoidal line spectrum.
