Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A peer/overlay hybrid optical network architecture with protocol gateways of GMPLS and OIF-UNI/NNI was proposed. The hybrid optical network is demonstrated with three-domain network involving a GMPLS-based peer network domain as well as two OIF-UNI/NNI domains. UNI-based switched connections (SCs) and soft permanent connections (SPCs) were successfully established over a single TDM/lambda GMPLS domain as well as OIF E-NNI-based multiple domains. The demonstration results showed that OIF UNI/NNI-based overlay network can be accommodated over the GMPLS-based optical networks.
