Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical Burst Switching (OBS) system is expected in Optical WDM networks. In OBS networks, intermediate nodes have no optical buffering. Therefore, bursts are lost except for the first one if some bursts assigned the same wavelength are output to the same fiber simultaneously. To avoid this collision, suitable wavelengths should be assigned to each burst. In addition to the wavelength assignment, dynamic routing can reduce the burst loss probability. In this paper, we propose the cooperation method which cooperatively deals with routing and wavelength assignment problem and evaluate its performance in terms of the burst loss probability.
