Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We demonstrated the 160Gbps/40Gbps x 4 wavelengths: serial-to-parallel conversion by using four-wave mixing (FWM) in highly-nonlinear fiber. We used the 160Gbps signal source as a pumping light of FWM to enhance conversion efficiency. The interchannel crosstalk came from the spectral broadening of converted 40Gbps signals due to the spectral envelope of pump light was suppressed by the bandwidth adjustment of the 160Gbps signal and wavelength filtering technique.
