Abstract(in English)	Photonics in Switching (PS) is an historic conference on optical switching created in the late 80's. Bringing together PS players from both an active community of academics and a manufacturer-operator, this conference was mainly optical systems and components oriented, focusing exclusively hardware (optical cross-connects and fast optical switches). Since last year, the conference has expanded its focus on the validation of performance of system concepts proposed. The international meeting on Photonics in Switching that will be organized in Versailles, France to provide participants opportunities to exchange recent ideas and information related with this domain, to participate to workshops in hot topics, to have a visibility on the main European and French directions adopted in that field and to participate to local visits exhibiting demonstrators or test-beds. This is for the report of PS2003.
