Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Concerning the composition method of photonic networks with combination of WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplex) and Burst Switch, we studied on a dynamic bandwidth assignment algorithm for Burst type Photonic Networks. In this paper, we proposed the Bandwidth Range Expansion, which is sharing wavelengths with Regional Network Nodes for raising the efficiency of transmission. This proposed method could consist with the conventional Burst type Photonic Network in response to daily dynamic traffics. And we evaluate its network performance through computer simulation.
