A study of the CDN over the Internet and the Internet express net

Abstract(in English) Authors have been studying an internet Express-net which allows IP peer-to-peer compatibility while IP flows are sent through a low layer connection path between users. This paper presents contents delivery architecture of the Express-net. In the connection-oriented network, function-shared architecture is preferable. Network operator provides multicast facilities for CDN operators. Main control processor in each packet transfer nodes along multicast path contains multicast control data in each content delivery. The contents delivery server multicasts setup before the delivery, and the main control processor set the data in the speech path function. The control data are set just in the delivery. In the TCP control, contents are caches in each node, and ARQ controls are locally conducted. The contents delivery server learns the period which is spent for the local management at the initial stage, and emits contents t periodically based on the learned timing.
