Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A wavelength locker is a conventional technique to stabilize the wavelength for the dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) transmission system. An etalon is a key optical component of the wavelength locker because its optical transmission efficiency is very sensitive to the wavelength. But the slight fluctuation of the optical beam incidence angle has a large impact to the transmission-wavelength characteristics. In this report, we adopt the wedge-etalon for easy aligning and can adjust the center of the linear slope on the transmission-wavelength curve to the ITU grid precisely. The reliability test results of the laser module, which includes the optical components mounted by resin adhesive, will be also reported.
