| Abstract(in English) | In peer-to-peer systems, which provide capabilities of searching and sharing contents via direct communications between peers, there are two typical problems. One problem is to generate a lot of traffic, and second is that quality of service depends on peer's power. As the solution of such problems, the authors have proposed applying IP multicasting to P2P systems. In this paper, we show the basic architecture of peer-to-peer systems using IP multicasting. Moreover, we point out a problem that firewall may interfere with a receipt of multicast messages and mention how we can solve this problem. |
