Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes multi-layer traffic engineering for Tera-bit Super Network (TSN). TSN is a network platform that achieves both high performance and scalability by integrating a photonic transmission technology and an electronic transmission technology. In order to improve quality of communication and network capacity of TSN, multi-layer traffic engineering architecture allocates cut-through optical paths and controls IPv6 routes in response to traffic changes with cooperating between a photonic layer routing and an electronic layer routing. In this paper, we propose the architecture of multi-layer traffic engineering, its operation, and allocation methods of cut-through optical paths in a photonic transport layer which is one of a key feature of this architecture.
