Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In IP-VPN services, users are assumed to need not only connecting each LAN distributed over wide area, but accessing application (web) servers from unspecified places by mobile terminals, or from home network via Internet. Such web servers usually need authentication procedure for each user. Therefore, authentication at each web server in addition to the authentication for VPN access makes password management complicated, and may cause deterioration of security. In this paper, we propose a network-supported single sign-on architecture which makes it possible to access multiple web servers in a VPN by only onetime authentication procedure in connecting to VPN from unspecified remote sites.
