| 抄録(和) | ここでは多段構成によるATM交換システムの大容量化に対して、ディジタル的な制御性への適合性を考慮し、分割と再構成への便利な形式である2の倍数を基準とする実用的システム構成法を提案している。このような偶数段構成の交換システムは、旧来の回線交換システムに対する実用的設計の1つの方式として用いられてきたものである。また、ここでは1パルス時間をサブナノ秒レベルとする超高速交換システムを対象にすることにしているので、高速性を制限するバックプレッシャ方式は不採用としている。この方針にもとづいてサイズ8×8のスイッチ要素を用いて構成したときの、 1段構成、 2段構成、 4段構成、 8段構成システムにおける損失率と転送遅延特性をシミュレーションから求めている。 |
| 抄録(英) | The practical architectures based on the multiples of 2, which simplify the division and reconfiguration of a system and match to the binary digital signal control, is presented to construct and expand ATM exchange systems by multi-stage configuration. The multi-stage configuration based on even numbers has been conventionally used for the practical circuit exchange systems. A backpressure cell control is omitted because the control makes difficult to implement the exchange systems at the sub nano second pulse level. For 1 stage system (consisted of a switch element only), 2 stage system, 4 stage system, and 8 stage system using 8×8 size switch elements which are con figured on the basis of the above practical architectures, the simulation analyses are done to evaluate characteristics of cell losses and transfer delays. |
