Abstract(in English) | Wireless LAN system using DS-SS in 2.4GHz Band often uses CCK scheme with hard decision decoding. However, the BER performance of CCK degrades due to noise emphasis effect. This paper deals with M-ary modulation using maximum likelihood decoding, which can achieve high quality transmission in the wireless LAN system, and evaluates the BER performance changing the length of spread code. This paper also evaluates the spectral efficiency in the cell configuration based on the interference performance. Simulation results show that the BER performance and the spectral efficiency can be improved by using the proposed spread code, which is 16 kinds of spread code with the length of 12 and Hammming distance of 6. |
