Abstract(in English) | This paper presents laboratory experimental results on the packet error rate (PER) and thereby throughput, performance, above 100 Mbps employing OFCDM (Orthogonal Frequency and Code Division Multiplexing) broadband wireless access (96.5 MHz bandwidth, 768 subcarriers, 1.0 msec frame length, pilot symbol-assisted coherent detection) in the forward link in a multipath fading channel. By utilizing the implemented OFCDM transceiver equipment, the PER performance of OFCDM with the frequency domain spreading and pilot symbol-assisted MMSE combining and that of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) without spreading are compared in a multipath fading channel, where the fading maximum Doppler frequency, f_D, and delay spread, σ, are the parameters.
