Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In MC-CDMA systems, accurate channel estimation is important to improve transmission quality. In this paper, we propose a time-domain channel estimation method in MC-CDMA systems that data and pilot symbols are spread in the time domain and code-multiplexed. In this method, a channel estimate in each sub-carrier is obtained by transforming a delay profile which non-path samples are removed. Here, obtaining accurate delay profiles is important to improve channel estimation quality. In our method, successive OFDM symbols, given weights according to maximum Doppler frequency, are added coherently, and performed cross correlation with replica of a transmitted pilot symbol to obtain a delay profile. In this method, we can obtain accurate delay profiles in various fading channels, by adding only highly correlated OFDM symbols.
