Abstract(in English) An approach to estimating direction-of-arrival based on cross correlation is proposed for the ESPAR (Electronically Steerable Parasitic Radiator) antenna. To verify performances, experiments on estimating direction-of-arrival are conducted in an anechoic chamber for several angles of arrival and different scenarios of antenna adjustable reactance values. The results show that the proposed (Power Pattern Cross Correlation) PPCC method can provide high-resolution direction-of-arrival estimation with a root mean square precision of 1 degree.
