Abstract(in English) To certfy the validity of the clastance concept of ventricle proposed by Suga et al(1973),aortic flow and peripheral flow curves werc reconstructed utilizing mathematical equivalent electrical circuit model of cardiovascular system.The E(t)as a contractfle element was expressed by thme varying elastance while arterial system was composed of inertance,aortic and peripheral compliance and resistance.The reconstructed aortic flow was physiological while peripheral flow curve was symmetric.The peak flow rate decreased with resistance,characteristic impedance,and intra ventricular viscous resistance which originated in cardiac muscle fiber.It increased with aortic compliance while peripheral flow decreased with aortic compliance.The elastance concept is available and useful for describing total hemodynamical changes in cardiovascular system.
