Integrated Human and Machine Communication Model in a TMN Environment

Abstract(in English) Humans and Machines will be collaborating in a TMN-era when Telecommunication Management Networks(TMNs)are widely introduced for the management of telecommunications.This paper discusses integration of human and machine communications in managing telecommunications to realize smooth introduction of TMNs,and promote collaboration between humans and machines in a TMN-era. First,″5 layers management communications reference model″ is pro posed to clarify the role of TMN and its standards.Second,contents of management communications are analyzed and areas shared by TMNs are indicated.Finally,a method to describe TMN requirements are discussed for the integration of human and machine communications which will be essential in realizing the smooth transition into the TMN-era.
