Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Current dynamic routing methods maximize network revenue by using alternate routes to profit from the existence of spare capacities in parts of the network while other parts are overloaded. However,in the case of severe overloading, alternate routing tends to be overused thus causing decreased network revenue. In this paper,we present a fuzzy control system to maximize network revenue by controlling alternate routing and admission rates even in chronically overloaded networks.By simplifying the rules used in the fuzzy system,we also make it easier to tune the membership function to adapt to different congestion level.
