| Abstract(in English) | In ATM cell losses are rare events.Although cell loss rates are important criteria for design and control of systems,it is difficult to deal with them because or their small values.The theory of large deviations is an useful technique to facilitate the work.In this paper,estimation formulae of cell loss probabilities using the large deviations are evaluated by simulation experiments,and general formulae for actual usage are proposed. |
