| Abstract(in English) | In these years,ATM-LAN systems have been investigated and developed rapidly.These trends are drived by the requirements from high speed networks for distributed computing environments,The ATM- LAN system are expected to be a new generation multimedia,high speed LAN system,co-existing and interworking with conventional LAN systems(Ether-net,and FDDI etc.).In this paper,we will discuss and analyze requirements for distributed conmputing environments, and then will point out major technological problems and directions required in developing of ATM-LAN systems. |
