Quantification in Artificial Intelligence with Quantitative Common Sense

Abstract(in English) In this paper,research is presented on an artificial intelligence system With common sense which can understand and solve problems on quantity as humans do.This system represents problems as a combination of elements necessary for computer processing(semantic analysis),and quantifies the elements relating to degree and comparison(quantification),then estimates degrees and trends. In particular,this paper discusses the method of the quantification.The quantification procedure introduces primitives(such as ′large′ and ′small′)which are independent of the measures.This makes possible the simplification of the procedure and the application of existing techniques such as fuzzy logic.In addition,an implementation of this method of quantification using these primitives is shown.
