Abstract(in English) This paper discusses the technical feasiblily for a Ku-band USAT(Ultra Small Aperture Terminal)system with antenna diameter of 0.4 to 0.5 meters.The radiation pattern of the USAT antenna required to meet the interference regulations is investigated, assuming that other USAT system employing a neighbor satellite is operated.Based on the developed radiation pattern masks for the USAT antenna,fundamental designs of the USAT antenna are examined.
