Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Characteristic of a cross-product frequency discriminator on QPSK signal is theoretically analyzed in a system model employing root roll-off band limitation.Expressions for power spectral density of random component at discriminator output are obtained. Variance of frequency fluctuation are calculated and discussed in an AFC loop using the discriminator. The variance decreases less than one third,as roll-off factor δ increases from 0 to 1.QPSK and π, 4QPSK have the same variance. On the other hand OQPSK has a larger variance than QPSK and π/4QPSK.
