Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the digital burst demodulator, using Kalman filter, the bandwidth of Kalman filter gets narrower as its progress of the processing time. Therefore, the process can not be started before the signal comes in.On the other hand, the preamble should be as short as possible for the burst efficency. In this paper,a method of the detection which utilizes a Kalman filter also, and gives a performance satisfying the restictions above mentioned is proposed. The signal detections are achieved by checking if the averaged absolute value of the Kalman filter estimation residuals is less than a certain level present in the detector. The performance characteristics given by simulation is presented,as well.
