Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a training system for people with visual impairment to learn Japanese hand writing guided by a braille graphic display and self-voicing speech output. This training system draws strokes of each Chinese character on the braille graphic display, and its learner can figure out how to draw Chinese characters by touching these strokes on the display. In this learning process, this system speaks the Japanese reading of each Chinese character and several guiding messages.
