Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an automatic composing system by using chaotic neural network. Chaotic neural network is possessed of a function as associative memory, so we apply the associative memory to automatic composition of melody. User selects some melodies as he likes, and inputs into automatic music composing system. The music composing system divides the melodies into two elements, which are pitch of note and length of note, and memorizes those elements separately. The system generates pitch parts and length parts from inputted random patterns, and makes a piece of phrase compounded from two parts. In this way, user gets some phrase, and makes a piece of melody with arranging those phrases.
