Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When only correlation or difference is used for constraint to template matching, in areas with few features, many high correlation points are detected. Therefore, the image matching fails in these areas. In this report, we propose a method to evaluate the reliability of the corresponding point based on distribution of difference in scanning area. Minimum of difference is compared with the distribution of difference of the others. This value is reliability of the corresponding point. Comparison with template matching using the fixed threshold shows the effectiveness of proposed method.
