| 抄録(和) | パターン認識・メディア理解研究専門委員会では,平成9年よりアルゴリズムコンテストを実施している.第8回の今年は,重なりのある複数画像から重なりを高速・高精度に求めるアルゴリズムを,3種類の難易度を設定して募集した.31件の応募があり,レペル毎に審査を行い,7件の優秀なアルゴリズムを選定した.第3回情報科学技術フォーラム(FIT2004)において審査結果発表と表彰式,入賞者によるアルゴリズムの紹介を行った.引き続き,奈良先端科学技術大学院大学の横矢直和先生に「画像位置合せ,画像モザイキング,そしてビデオモザイキング」というタイトルで御講演をいただいた.本報告ではそれらの実施報告と入賞者によるアルゴリズムの紹介をする. |
| 抄録(英) | The Technical Group on Pattern Recognition and Media Understanding (PRMU) has been promoting an annual algorithm contest on pattern recognition and media understanding since 1997. This year's contest focuses on image mosaicing algorithm. The problems of the contest are divided into three levels. As a result of invitation, 31 algorithms were submitted The jury considered seven algorithms as winning prizes. In the Forum on Information Technology (FIT2004), PRMU performed the announcement of the examination result, the commendation ceremony, the presentations of the algorithms of the prizewinners, and the special lecture on image mosaicing by Prof. Naokazu Yokoya This report describes the summary of the contest and the details of the prizewinners' algorithms. |
