Abstract(in English) This paper discusses a metadata production system which can provide a content-based metadata effectively. At the beginning, a metadata editor is described, which we have developed as the common metadata production tool. The editor can handle videos, audio and texts related to TV programs equally and make the metadata by combining extracted information. Then a common platform for metadata production and utilization is proposed, which is based on the results of the metadata editor experiment. Common interface required to realize the platform is also proposed.
