| 抄録(和) | 本研究は,顔の再認における特異性効果が顔の物理的特徴の平均からの逸脱度によるものかについて,相関,偏相関分析を用いて検討した.特徴の逸脱度の指標として,顔ごとに,特徴の計測値から算出したZ得点の総和を求め,顔の個性の因子得点,再認確信度との相関,偏相関分析を行った.その結果,男性顔のターゲットの再認における特異性効果に,特徴の逸脱度が影響していることが明らかになったが,逸脱度以外の要因め存在も示めされた.また,ディストラクタの再認と女性顔のターゲットの再認における特異性効果には,特徴の逸脱度の影響は見られず,逸脱度以外の要因の存在が考えられる.このことから,特異性効果には,複数の要因が関わっていること,それらの要因には性差があることが明らかになった. |
| 抄録(英) | The present study investigated whether or not the physic,al deviation from averaged face caused the distinctive effect on facial recognition. The stimuli were 120 pictures of male and female faces (mean age of faces was 21.6 years). The sizes, lengths, and angles of physical features of the faces were measured, and then the extent to which each faces deviated from average was calculated. One hundred and eight university students rated the distinctiveness of the faces. Eighty university students performed recognition memory tasks for the faces. Correlation and partial correlation analyses using physical deviation, rated distinctiveness and recognition performance revealed that physical features caused the distinctive effect on target recognition of male faces, but had no influence on target recognition of female faces and distracter recognition. |
