Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mobile router can expand network mobility to the entire network. However, little research work is done for the mobile network of IPv6 up to now. IETF working group gives NEMO basic protocol, which doesn't consider the roaming of the local nodes behind its mobile router. Therefore, the authors propose a two-level mobile routing system for wireless LAN networks to offer the seamless network connectivity for the mobile networks behind the mobile router. Combined with Xcat based fast handover scheme, our proposal is able to provide good performance for the overall handover of the mobile network. Simulation results show that our proposal can achieve good handover performance even when the user terminal moves and changes its attached mobile router when fast handover scheme is considered.
