Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rate control is an important issue for video streaming applications, in particular, on wireless networks. This paper proposed the congestion differentiated rate control CDRC scheme, classifying the network into three states : none-congestion state, congestion state, fast recover state. Only the packet loss in the congestion state would be regarded as the congestion loss and taken into account in the TCP throughput calculation. Besides, different rate adaptation is applied in each state. Moreover, we also compared it with two typical wired TFRC technologies. Practical experiments show good performance of our scheme.
