Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the use of VoIP has increased to reduce cost in corporate LAN. In VoIP, deterioration in the network-level quality leads directly to the degradation of voice quality. It is necessary to continuously monitor end-to-end network-level and application-level quality and to collect possible failures and troubles that affect voice quality network-level and application-level quality promptly. We have propose a QoS management system that measures by the probe flow. The QoS management system consist of QoS server, SIP server and softphone. The QoS server makes test scenarios based on the list of the softphones which was subscribed to the SIP server, and direct the softphones to measure network-level and application-level quality according to the scenarios. The softphones send a result to the QoS server after quality measurement is ended. We report on details of the QoS management system QoS server and softphone.
