Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) OLSR that is a proactive routing protocol in mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), introduces the concept of MPR and improves the efficiency of flooding. OLSR has a problem of heavy packet forwarding on the MPR terminals. To reduce the load of the MPR terminal, in this paper, we propose the method of the priority retransmission for the MPR terminals together with frame burst forwarding. In this method, Contention Window (CW) of the MPR Terminals remains to be fixed during packet retransmission to give high priority MPR terminals. The proposed method is evaluated by using computer simulation, and it is that the performance of the proposed method outperforms the conventional method.
