Abstract(in English) The authors are developing an algorithm for video retrieval based on motion information extracted from video bitstream. This papar first describes a Graphical User Interface developed for a user to input image scenes he has in mind to the retrieval system. In case the target scene searches using a histogram, a scene cut technique for which uses matching of a histogram is proposed in this paper. Consideration is described from the result of the example experiment using color histogram and MV histogram.
