Interactive content-based image retrieval using group-based relevance feedback

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we proposed a novel interactive image retrieval system using group-based relevance feedback, by which the user interacts with the system using multiple groups of images. In this system, by grouping images according to the user's diffrent perspective, the user's retrieval intent can be easily estimated. Moreover, the retrieval results are shown in groups corresponding to the user-established groups, by which, the user can understand why the system gives such results. To implement this system, we also proposed an efficient learning method with Reduct of Rough Set Theory to estimate the user's retrieval intent. At the end of this paper, some retrieval results will be shown to demonstrate the effectivity of the proposed system and learning method.
