Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report assesses the media synchronization quality of audio-video transmission over the IEEE 802.11g under Bluetooth interference by experiment. In the experiment, we constructed a simulated wireless environment so that Bluetooth can interfere the IEEE 802.11g access point and the media receiver. We measured the interference effect on media synchronization quality of audio-video by changing the signal level of Bluetooth interference sent to the access point and the media receiver. As a result, we find that as the Bluetooth interference level increases, retransmitted packets and CRC error packets increase; this degrades the media synchronization quality. Moreover, we show that the media synchronization control improves the media synchronization quality.
