Abstract(in English) | EEG and MEG are suitable for the analysis of the brain activity from 300ms to 500ms. Moreover, PET and fMRI are suitable for the analysis afterwards. But, there is the blank time zone that cannot be measured when the analyzing of face recognition used for there equipments. This is the zone between activities from 150ms to 170ms in FFA and activities of amygdala obtained by fMRI. That is, period from 170ms to 500ms that after presenting stimulation. In the experiment planned this time, we have succeeded at searching for possibility of the brain activity of face recognition in this blank time zone. In the experiment, we have made to control of visual line scanning, measured moving time of visual line, and carried out the image matching task of facial expression by Delayed Matching-to-Sample. The measured facial expressions recognition time involved pure facial expressions recognition time and the moving time of the visual line. Therefore, pure facial expressions recognition time is a difference between facial expressions recognition time and moving time of the visual line We obtained the pure facial expressions recognition time that Expressionless is 184ms, Happy is 197ms, Hatred is 212ms, Sorrow is 196ms by 10 subjects. The result of Expressionless became near with the report used MEG, from 150ms to 170ms. |
