Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) we would seem to affect particular make-up color based on some Kansei-evaluation parameters of colors. A Kansei-evaluation for nail colors was investigated in Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) by using pictures of nails with 6 colors ("salmon pink", "beige", "pink", "deep pink", "black", and "white"). Using the method of S.D., we obtained 3 factors for Kansei-evaluation of nail pictures with pink color: "elegance", "cuteness", and "conspicuousness". These factors were designed as evaluation parameters in AHP. The results in AHP showed that "cuteness", "elegance", and "conspicuousness" were in order of high weight, and that "salmon pink", "beige", and "pink" were among six colors. It would be suggested that we might positively evaluate natural nail colors similar to real nail color.
