| 抄録(和) | 本研究では、人間の顔の動きを使って、別の人の顔アニメーションをリアルタイムに生成するシステムについて報告する。人間の顔の動きは、顔に貼り付けた赤外線マーカの動きを、モーションキャプチャシステムにより獲得する。また、別の人の顔形状の特徴は、事前に、発話時における基本9表情の顔3次元形状を計測することで得る。顔の動きから、別の人の顔の3次元形状へのマッピングは、それぞれのデータを主成分分析し、基本9表情の対応に基づいて、主成分べクトル間の線形変換として決定される。主成分分析により、大幅にデータを圧縮できるので、顔アニメーション生成に必要なのは、上位3主成分の線形合成係数と、頭部運動の合計9個のパラメータのみである。モーションキャプチャから顔アニメーション生成までの一連の処理を、ネットワークを介した計算機を使って実時間で可能にするシステムを構築した。 |
| 抄録(英) | In this paper, we describe a system that can map one's facial motion to different person's computer graphics facial animation. The facial motion is obtained by motion capture system which measures 3D coordinates of infra-red LED markers placed on one's face. The features how a different person speaks are modeled by 3D facial shape information of pre-defined basic nine postures characteristic to speech. These information are analyzed using PCA(principal component analysis), and they are linearly mapped based on the correspondences of the nine postures. Due to PCA, the number of parameters required to generate facial animation is only nine: three coefficients of dominant principal components and six rigid head motion. The proposing system can process all these procedures in real-time on computers connected through network. |
