Abstract(in English) | Almost Learner Model Building Modules on current Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITSs) can build learner models by analyzing learners' answers, the learners' past learning records and so on, and tutor learners as appropriate according to identifying changes in the learners' knowledge. If these modules can treat the learners' confidence to their answers, the ITSs will be better able to teach the learners. The learners often solve problems with worrying whether their answers are correct or not, and behave in various way based on their confidence. We have developed a prototype of a new learner model building system for supporting ITSs. Our system is called LEARN (LEarning Attitude RecogNizer), and can identify the confidence by recognizing their diverse postures while their learning. This paper will be described implement and evaluation of LEARN. |
