Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a detection system of suspicious human using an omnidirectional thermograph system. Heretofore, we had developed an omnidirectional thermograph system for human detection. Because the system utilizes the information of far-infrared radiation, the system is impervious to lighting conditions. This method consists of two steps, which are human detection with background substraction and direction estimation of human body with neural networks.
