Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This study reports results of transfer experiments using two different car navigation systems, T and C. Paired participants were observed to learn basic tasks like setting two navigation goals in one route. Four pairs learned C navigation system first, performed test tasks on C, and then transferred to T. The other four pairs reversed the order, from T to C. In terms of the success rates, all pairs completed the tasks, showing transfer. Details of the performances differed, though, depending on the order and the tasks. Overall, the participants were observed to seek coherent command structures. |
